Scaffolding Used for Indoor Scaffolding Works
Most of the indoor scaffolding projects we complete are constructed with lightweight aluminium scaffolding. However, at times we get a project request that is still during the construction stage of a project. In this instance, we would generally use a heavy-duty steel scaffold as a replacement. The main reasoning for this is to reduce the risk of damage to finished surfaces as well as provide a sturdier support system to withstand heavier weights.
Majority of our indoor scaffolding request are for maintenance work at occupied homes, schools, office blocks and hotels. For these jobs, we use our lightweight aluminium modular system. This system is much easier to move around, much cleaner and quicker to install. Another advantage of using this lightweight system is accessibility as the it is much lighter than steel scaffold making it much easier to transport and handle. As result, we do not have to use the larger trucks which gives us more flexibility with vehicle drivers and employee job allocations.
Indoor Scaffolding to Rent for Residential Work
Indoor scaffolding rental for residential work is performed in the normal working hours, however, places like office blocks, hotels & schools often require us to work outside these normal hours and within strict time frames. If you are looking to hire an indoor scaffold outside of normal working hours you would need to specify an exact time as our team is always on time. Especially when there is no room for errors as trades will be waiting on site for us to complete the install and certify the scaffold.
Indoor Scaffolding Hire Rates
There are many scaffold suppliers that struggle to provide scaffolding for this type of work without charging very high rates. At Stronghold Hire, we can keep these costs down due to the volume of these types of jobs. In simple terms, many scaffold suppliers would have to charge the full day for two workers to install a scaffold that only takes around 3 hours. The reason for this is that they pay their scaffolders a minimum of 8 hours each day and cannot move them to another job as it is too inconvenient for everyone. At Stronghold Hire, we can often install 2-3 indoor scaffolds per day which enables us to be extremely competitive with our rates.
